Are You Ready for Marco?

Well, here we are. Just a couple of days until we get into the big birds and fly away to sunny Florida. Some of us will be there earlier than others, primarily looking for that elusive big one that doesn't get away. Others will show up at the last second Monday morning.

If you don't attend, how will you keep up on the proceedings? It's kind of hard isn't it? Well, since I'm privileged to be going, I'm going to try and keep you up to date. How? Why right here of course...

I'm going to give this "live blogging" thing a try. We'll just have to wait and see how much I'm able to do, and what type of relevance it brings, but what the heck...It's worth a shot I think..

I'm going to try and provide updates at least once a day, possibly (depending on content and time) even during the conference hours..Of course, I'm somewhat dependant on the wireless availability, so we'll see how that plays out as well.

So, to start with, we'll tak a potshot at the program. BY my count, we continue to get "better" at looking across the spectrum of SAP capabilities. I very much remember when attending a CWG conference meant a couple of days listening to the Advanced mode discussion club.

By my count, the presentations break down something like this;

• 6 Manufacturing oriented
• 23 Sales oriented (non Advanced mode)
• 3 Advanced mode oriented
• A few I couldn't fit into any given "category"

Obviously, we are getting more well rounded. A couple of the Sales related items may also degenerate into Advanced mode discussions as well. Time will tell..I'll get into a discussion of Advanced mode after the conference. I'm sure you are surprised, but I have an opinion or two on the subject..

So, please don't hesitate to let me know what you think. I realize this is new, and I'm not the best at it. I'm wide open to suggestions and\or help!!
